Are you seeking an entry-level role with a passion for workplace safety and based in or around Ontario, California? Full Steam Staffing is looking for a proactive and motivated Entry-Level Safety Coordinator to join our internal team. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training, including your 30-hour OSHA General Industry certification! This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals eager to ensure safe working environments and make a real difference.

As an Entry-Level Safety Coordinator with Full Steam Staffing, you'll be instrumental in implementing and promoting essential safety protocols across our client sites in the Inland Empire region, specifically focusing on Fontana, Pomona, and Ontario. Your primary goal will be to foster a strong safety culture and ensure every worker goes home safely at the end of their shift. We'll provide you with all the necessary tools, knowledge, and safety training to excel in this crucial role.

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Swiftly address and resolve unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Follow up on workplace injuries and incidents to ensure proper resolution and documentation.
  • Lead engaging training sessions for staff on key safety topics.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential risks, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate safety documentation.
  • Travel to various client sites within the Ontario, Fontana, and Pomona areas to oversee and enforce safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Basic computer skills (proficiency in Google Suite/Microsoft Office ).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail for creating thorough and accurate reports.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and commit to safety training provided.
