Job summary

PartnerOne is a long-term software investment group seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. You will maintain accurate financial records, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, manage accounts payable, and assist with month-end close in a fast-paced SaaS environment using Sage Intacct.

The ideal candidate has strong US GAAP knowledge, hands-on ERP experience, and the ability to work across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in a SaaS/tech environment.
• Hands-on Sage Intacct experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and close processes.
• ERP experience; Ramp/HubSpot familiarity is a plus.
• CPA designation (CPA Canada/US) is an asset.
• Candidate must be in EST/EDT time zone.

Responsibilities

• Record, verify and maintain accounting transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly close.
• Reconcile balance sheet and GL accounts monthly.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Process vendor invoices and payments (AP).
• Contribute to monthly/quarterly/year-end close and reporting.
• Support audits and provide documentation.
• Ensure US GAAP and internal controls compliance.
• Participate in ad hoc accounting projects and backups.
