Sage Intacct Application Consultant (Remote)

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and support client software implementations, with a focus on construction industry clients
• Apply both Sage Intacct expertise and construction‑specific knowledge to guide customers through system configuration, financial workflows, and reporting needs
• Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving questions, tracking issues, and escalating according to company guidelines
• Utilize and follow Aktion's methodology to achieve successful client implementation
• Proactively communicate with clients and team to achieve exceptional client satisfaction

Education, Experience and Skills

• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience with Sage Intacct ERP software
• Demonstrated accounting/financial skill
• Prior construction experience preferred in either a consulting role or in a financial leadership position (e.g., Controller, CFO, Project Accountant, or equivalent)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience is preferred

Location

• Work from home
• Midwest preferred with travel up to 20‑30%
