Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (C.A.R.E.) Centre is currently welcoming an ER, RVT to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for motivated technicians to expand their knowledge and practice very high-quality emergency medicine with a board-certified emergency and critical care specialist.
Our ER RVTs have extensive exposure and involvement in patient care for specialty patients, providing a rich variety of cases including Dentistry, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Dermatology, Surgery, and Anesthesia. The philosophy of the C.A.R.E. Centre is to provide exceptional patient care in a progressive and cooperative teaching environment.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong desire to provide an exceptional client experience. Extensive training is provided.
Schedule: The schedule offers great balance, with two days on/two days off, followed by five days on/five days off (including every other weekend off), with an ER premium. This schedule rotates monthly between days, swing, and overnight shifts (including an overnight premium).
