Service Technician – Recreational Vehicles

Job Responsibilities
  1. Examine and diagnose vehicles
  2. Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
  3. Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
  4. Plan work in cooperation with shop foreman
  5. Provide labor estimates to service advisor
  6. Monitor repair time and update service advisor
  7. Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
  8. Complete documentation for client repairs
  9. Assist in mentoring technician trainees
  10. Attend company and factory training
  11. Stay current with factory technical bulletins
  12. Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., hazardous waste disposal)
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
  • Operator Driver's License (must be insurable)
Compensation
  • $25 - $40 hourly based on experience
