Job description

Role: Service Technician

Employment Type: Full-Time, Seasonal

Location: Kamloops, BC

Are you looking to grow your RV Technician career and become an expert within the RV industry? We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Service Team. This is a Full-Time, Seasonal position based at our Kamloops, BC Dealership.

The RV Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing all types of RVs. They must maintain clear communication with the Service Manager and Service Writers to ensure repairs are approved prior to starting work. Accurate and concise notes must be inputted into work orders. The technician may also meet with customers to discuss diagnoses, potential repairs, or explain completed work.

Job Duties:

1. Troubleshoot and diagnose RVs requiring repair and maintenance
2. Perform repairs and maintenance on propane gas and electrical appliances
3. Complete all paperwork and documentation for repairs
4. Provide customer service and perform other duties related to the Service Technician role
5. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements:

• Red Seal certification
• RV or automotive maintenance experience
• Experience with RV & trailer repairs is an asset
• Knowledge of Plumbing, Carpentry, or Electrical systems (Automotive or Industrial)
• Experience with vehicle hitch and wiring
• Level 1 RV Certificate and RV & trailer experience are assets
• General house renovation skills
• Ability to work Saturdays during the busy season
• Hourly wage range: $20.00 - $28.00, based on experience and background
