Job summary

Fraserway RV in Bedford is seeking an experienced technician, mechanic, or skilled tradesperson to join our service team. You'll diagnose and repair a wide variety of RVs and systems, using your hands-on skills while learning through training and real-world experience.

No RV-specific experience required; automotive, electrical, plumbing, marine or trailer trades are valuable. This is a full-time, year-round position with opportunities to advance, paid training, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a technician, mechanic, or skilled tradesperson.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or other technical systems.
• Ability to diagnose problems and determine practical solutions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to learn new systems and expand skills.
• Red Seal Certification is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing 12V and 120V electrical systems.
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing appliances, furnaces, water heaters, and refrigerators.
• Working with propane systems.
• Performing maintenance, inspections, and general RV repairs.
• Identifying problems and determining the appropriate repair.
• Completing work orders and documenting repairs clearly.
• Working with Service Advisors and other technicians to keep repairs moving.
• Communicating with customers when technical information or completed work needs to be explained.

If you enjoy diagnosing problems, working with your hands, and taking pride in doing the job right, Fraserway RV has an opportunity for you. We're looking for an experienced technician, mechanic, or skilled tradesperson to join our Bedford service team. You'll work on a wide variety of RVs and systems, using your existing technical skills while developing new ones through training and hands-on experience. You don't need previous RV experience to succeed in this role. Experience in automotive, electrical, plumbing, marine, trailer, or other skilled trades is valuable here.

What You'll Do

• Diagnosing and repairing 12V and 120V electrical systems
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing systems
• Diagnosing and repairing appliances, furnaces, water heaters, and refrigerators
• Working with propane systems

Working Conditions

This Is a Hands-on Position That Involves

• Working both indoors and outdoors
• Standing, bending, reaching, and lifting
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Working Saturdays as required
• Overtime during peak season as required
