1Password is seeking an Intermediate Developer on the Everyday Experience team. You will own complex backend features, work across surfaces and services, and apply AI tooling to accelerate development. This role is remote within Canada and the US, with a focus on reliability and user‑facing quality.

Ideal candidates bring strong Rust experience, plus comfort with Go and AWS. You will collaborate across Product, Security, and Infrastructure to deliver high‑quality solutions and maintainable

Qualifications

• Experienced developer with strong Rust knowledge (Hands-on backend systems).
• Ability to own complex systems end-to-end from design through delivery.
• Comfortable working across product surfaces, backend services, CI/CD, reliability, and operational workflows.
• Strong technical judgment with pragmatic tradeoffs among quality, speed, reliability, and maintainability.
• Able to ramp into complex codebases and ambiguous problem spaces quickly.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain a solid understanding of your development toolchain and contribute new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
• Participate in full lifecycle of a feature from planning to release and support.
• Develop testing strategies, write unit/integration tests, document work, and submit well-documented merge requests.
• Plan solutions in advance, reuse patterns, and promote best practices in code reviews.
• Mentor and collaborate with teammates, support customer outcomes, and drive improvements.
