Job summary

Rosebud Centre of the Arts seeks an Executive Director to lead a faith-based arts and education organization in rural Alberta. You will report to the Board, manage a staff of 20 full-time and up to 50 part-time personnel, and guide operations to fulfill the Centre’s mission.

The role requires a servant leader with strong opinions and the ability to facilitate group wisdom, plus skills in budgeting, marketing, and fundraising to support programs and community impact.

Qualifications

• Experience budgeting and managing to budget.
• A servant leader who can facilitate group wisdom.
• People-centred diplomat with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience negotiating with business people and government authorities.
• Understanding of marketing and fundraising for arts organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a staff of 20 full-time and up to 50 part-time staff to achieve the organization’s mission.
• Report to and be accountable to the Board of Directors.
• Provide strategic leadership for a faith-based arts and education organization.
• Engage with external partners, donors, and government authorities to advance the Centre’s goals.
