Job Responsibilities
  • Sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely and efficiently
  • Maintain knowledge of local infrastructure, roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
  • Ensure mail is secured during delivery
Additional Responsibilities
  • Process CPC products and services (e.g., Change of Address, Damaged Mail, IDB)
  • Wear Canada Post identification visibly during delivery
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg
  • Operate a motor vehicle in various weather conditions
Qualifications & Vehicle Requirements

Must have a satisfactory safe driving record, valid provincial driver’s license (class 5 or G), and meet vehicle cargo capacity and safety standards as outlined. Vehicle requirements depend on route specifics and may include features like automatic transmission, power windows, and cargo capacity of at least 50 cu ft.
