Job Description

Imagine making the open road your office. As an on-call relief Rural and Suburban Mail Carrier with Canada Post, you will deliver mail to various communities. This role is ideal for dependable, organized individuals who enjoy working independently and operating a motor vehicle in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Sort, collect, and deliver mail safely and timely
  • Maintain knowledge of local infrastructure, roads, and customer delivery points
  • Ensure mail is securely handled
  • Process CPC products and services (e.g., Change of Address, Damaged Mail, IDB)
  • Wear and display Canada Post identification during deliveries
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lb / 22.7 kg
  • Operate a motor vehicle in all weather conditions
Qualifications & Vehicle Requirements

Must have a safe driving record, valid driver’s license (class 5 or G), and meet vehicle specifications (cargo capacity of at least 50 cu ft, automatic transmission, power windows, etc.). Ensure proper insurance coverage and vehicle safety compliance.
