• Valid permanent provincial driver's licence—Class 5 or G.
• Satisfactory safe driving record (driver's abstract dated within the last 30 days).
• Personal vehicle meeting Canada Post cargo and specification requirements.
• Automobile liability insurance.
• Experience making deliveries and operating a motor vehicle in varied conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lb throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely and on time
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of local roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
• Ensure mail is safely secured in your possession at all times
• Process Canada Post products and services including Change of Address Notifications, Damaged Mail, and Items Delivered Bills (IDB)
• Wear Canada Post identification visibly while delivering and collecting mail
• Lift and carry items up to 50 lb
• Operate a motor vehicle safely in all weather and traffic conditions

Responsibilities

• Sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely and on time
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of local roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
• Ensure mail is safely secured in your possession at all times
• Process Canada Post products and services including Change of Address Notifications, Damaged Mail, and Items Delivered Bills (IDB)
• Wear Canada Post identification visibly while delivering and collecting mail
• Lift and carry items up to 50 lb / 22.7 kg
• Operate a motor vehicle safely in all weather and traffic conditions

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid permanent provincial driver's licence — Class 5 or G
• Satisfactory safe driving record (driver's abstract dated within the last 30 days required if selected)
• Personal vehicle meeting Canada Post's mandatory requirements: minimum cargo capacity of 50 cu ft (1,415 litres), automatic transmission, power windows, metal roof-top with accessory power outlet, interior window sill height between 38\" and 45\" from ground, maximum interior width of 56"
• Automobile liability insurance covering use of personal vehicle for mail delivery
• Experience making deliveries and operating a motor vehicle in varied conditions
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lb throughout the workday
