Alberta Health Services in High River is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Acute Medical Inpatient Unit. You will work as part of an interprofessional team to deliver holistic, patient-and-family-centred care with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include applying nursing processes, adapting to workload changes, and acting as a preceptor when needed. The position requires BCLS-HCP, eligible registration, and a rural-care background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the CLHA.

Responsabilités

• Provide holistic nursing care on the Acute Medical Inpatient Unit.
• Collaborate with an interprofessional health care team; ensure safety and high-quality patient care.
• Maintain PPE and adapt to changing workloads in a fast-paced unit.
