Overview

The Village of Glendale Crossing located in London Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Chef to join their team.

Shift Details :

75 hrs. bi weekly and may include weekend rotations.

To be successful as our Chef you will:

  • Be a graduate of Chef Training or have a Diploma in Culinary Management from an accredited college or equivalent
  • Valid Food Safety Certification
  • Current Smart Serve Certification
  • Have flexibility to work a variety of different shifts including days evenings weekends (including holidays)
  • Have a passion for menu and recipe development
  • Knowledge of cost control
  • Experience in coaching and developing teams
  • Understand the physical mental and emotional demands of the Chef role

It would be an asset if our new Chef has:

  • Acquired a Red Seal designation
  • Possesses an understanding of therapeutic diets
  • Knowledge of relevant policies procedures legislation regulations and best practices applicable to senior living
