Job summary

Sureway Construction Group in Edmonton is seeking a Rubber Tire Loader Operator for seasonal, full-time work. You will load materials such as sand, gravel, and dirt, keep equipment clean, and prepare for transport on flatbeds when needed.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of loader experience, the ability to work in tight spaces, and strong problem-solving skills while adhering to safety protocols. OT applies after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of loader experience.
• Experience loading rail cars, trucks, belly dumps, bins.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work in tight spots.

Responsibilities

Sureway Construction is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, involved in; civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction.

Job Type: Full Time, Seasonal

Schedule: 10+ hours per day, 6 & 1, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Location: Edmonton and Surrounding Area’s - no direct access to public transportation

• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Pre-employment:

• Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

Rubber Tire Loader Operator Responsibilities:

• Load materials such as sand, gravel, dirt etc.
• Keeps equipment clean and prepares equipment for transport on flatbed when needed.
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

Rubber Tire Loader Operator Qualifications:

• At least two (2+) years’ experience running a loader.
• Experience loading rail cars, trucks, belly dumps, bins, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills required.

• Must have proven ability to work in tight spots.
