Job summary

Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) is seeking a Registered MRI Technologist for a part-time position at WRHN Midtown & Chicopee. The role involves performing MRI studies, rotating through sites, and precepting MRI students in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Ideal candidates hold current registration with OCMRIT (Ontario) and CAMRT MRI specialty; MRI experience is an asset. A strong focus on teamwork, attendance, and ongoing education is required for success in a busy clinical

• Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists (Ontario) and CAMRT in the MRI specialty.
• Previous MRI experience in a similar environment is an asset.
• Demonstrated teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills in a challenging environment.
• Good attendance record.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education.

Position Summary:

Perform MRI studies and procedures on a rotational basis. Act as preceptor to MRI students. Must be able to demonstrate effective problem solving skills while participating in a team-building environment. Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Position Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists (Ontario) and C.A.M.R.T. in the specialty of M.R.I.
• Previous experience in MRI in a similar environment an asset.
• Demonstrated team building, interpersonal and communication skills in a challenging environment.
• Good attendance record.
• Demonstrate ongoing continuing education.
