Job summary

Flexstaf IT is hiring a Testing Lead to own end-to-end quality for large digital solutions in Toronto. You will design test strategies, plans, scenarios, and reports, and lead both manual and automated testing across UI, APIs, and databases.

You will coordinate between business, development, security, privacy, and operations teams, manage defects, build metrics, and advise on release readiness to ensure production quality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading testing for large, complex digital or enterprise solutions.
• Experience developing comprehensive test strategies, test plans, scenarios, scripts, procedures, and completion reports.
• Experience leading functional, integration, system, regression, accessibility, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience using test automation tools and approaches to support user-interface, API, or database testing where appropriate.
• Experience selecting and applying testing tools, programming languages, frameworks, and quality practices.
• Experience establishing test environments, test data, entry and exit criteria, and test schedules.
• Experience coordinating testing across business, development, architecture, security, privacy, and operational teams.
• Experience managing defects through identification, prioritization, resolution, retesting, and closure.
• Experience developing test metrics, dashboards, traceability reports, and quality assessments.
• Experience providing evidence-based recommendations regarding release readiness.
