Job summary

Softline Technology Inc. in Toronto seeks a QA Lead to drive quality across the delivery lifecycle, crafting the test strategy and directing plans, scenarios, scripts, and defect-management with automation where suitable.

You will lead end-to-end testing across functional, integration, system, regression, accessibility, performance, security, and user acceptance testing, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure release readiness.

Leads quality assurance and testing across the delivery lifecycle. Defines the overall test strategy and directs the development and execution of test plans, scenarios, scripts, defect-management processes, and quality reporting, with test automation applied where appropriate.

Experience Requirements

• Experience leading testing for large, complex digital or enterprise solutions.
• Experience developing comprehensive test strategies, test plans, scenarios, scripts, procedures, and completion reports.
• Experience leading functional, integration, system, regression, accessibility, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience using test automation tools and approaches to support user-interface, API, or database testing where appropriate.
• Experience selecting and applying testing tools, programming languages, frameworks, and quality practices.
• Experience establishing test environments, test data, entry and exit criteria, and test schedules.
• Experience coordinating testing across business, development, architecture, security, privacy, and operational teams.
• Experience managing defects through identification, prioritization, resolution, retesting, and closure.
• Experience developing test metrics, dashboards, traceability reports, and quality assessments.
• Experience providing evidence-based recommendations regarding release readiness.

Communication and Reporting – 25%

• Excellent leadership, facilitation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience communicating quality risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate business and technical teams during testing and defect resolution.
