Job summary

Ministry of the Solicitor General (SOLGEN) – Justice Technology Services in Toronto, ON, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain secure enterprise applications. You will implement integrations with OTIS and other systems, building solutions using Azure, .NET, C#, MVC, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

The role requires deep expertise in Azure services, SQL Server databases, DevOps/CI/CD, and full SDLC, working within Agile/Scrum teams and providing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 10+ years with Microsoft Azure and .NET technologies.
• Strong experience with C#/.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, ReactJS, JavaScript, Azure DevOps, Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
• 5+ years of database development with Azure SQL/SQL Server.
• Experience with DevOps/CI/CD and full SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of security, accessibility, and enterprise development standards.

Project Overview
SOLGEN is developing an integrated Risk Assessment Platform connecting LSI-OR, RASO (Static-99R/Stable 2007), and ODARA with the Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure enterprise applications.
• Develop integrations and APIs with OTIS and other systems.
• Build solutions using Azure, .NET, C#, MVC, Entity Framework, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Develop Azure Web Apps, Functions, Logic Apps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and manage Azure SQL/SQL Server databases.
