Job summary

Source Code in Downtown Toronto is seeking an International Systems Testing/QA Specialist to join our hybrid team. You will perform hands-on automation testing, validate complex systems, and contribute to quality across projects.

From Oct 20, 2025, the role requires onsite 4 days a week, then from Jan 5, 2026, full onsite. 3-7 years of experience, Selenium, React/Next.js, and strong programming skills are required. Prior experience in public sector domains like OPS and banking is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of hands-on testing experience (Intermediate).
• Extensive automation testing experience.
• Experience in Public, OPS, banking sectors.
• Experience with Selenium or similar automation testing tools; React and Next.js.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Familiar with information retrieval packages.
• Knowledge of testing methods in object-oriented environments.
• Understanding of Information Management principles, policies and practices.
• Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related standards.
• Experience planning and organizing testing for large and small systems.
• Experience coding automated test scripts to produce sets of automated test cases.
• Experience testing Commercial Off-The-Shelf Applications (COTS).

Hybrid: 3 Days onsite / 2 days remote

- From October 20, 2025, the candidate is required to work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day from home

- From January 5, 2026, the candidate is required to work onsite 5 days a week fully

Must-Have:

• 3-7 years of more hands-on experience (Intermediate)
• Extensive experience with Automation testing.
• prior exp from Public, OPS, banking sectors.
• Experience with Selenium (or similar automation testing tools), React and Next.js
• Knowledge and experience in at least one programming language
• Experience in the use of information retrieval packages
• Knowledge and understanding of testing methods in an object-oriented environment
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices.
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
• Experience planning and organising testing efforts for both large and small systems
• Experience coding automated test scripts to produce sets of automated test cases
• Experience testing Commercial Off-the Shelf Applications (COTS)
