Job summary

Source Code in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior Front End Software Developer to join our growing team. The role focuses on advanced front end work using Angular 2+, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS, with exposure to REST APIs, RxJS, and modern web architectures.

From Oct 20, 2025, onsite is four days a week with one day from home, ramping to full onsite by Jan 5, 2026. Candidates should have strong Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS skills and experience with WebSphere, Bitbucket, and WCAG 2.0 AA

Qualifications

• Must have Oracle 12C or higher with 10+ years experience.
• SQL with DB Objects (Tables, Views, Sequences, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers) 5+ years.
• Angular 2+ with TS, 5+ years.
• TypeScript, HTML5, CSS 5+ years.
• Node/NPM 5+ years, RxJS 5+ years.
• Spring Framework MVC/Security/JPA/Boot; WebSphere 8.5+.
• Bitbucket repo experience; WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility; responsive web.

-From October 20, 2025, the candidate is required to work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day from home

- From January 5, 2026, the candidate is required to work onsite 5 days a week fully

Must Have:

• Oracle 12C or higher -10+
• DB SQL including DB Objects such as Tables, Views, Sequences, Store Procedure, Functions, Triggers -5 Years +
• Angular JS v2+ - 5+
• Typescript - 5+
• HTML 5.0, CSS - 5+
• Node such as NPM - 5+
• RXJS - 5+
• Spring Framework (MVC, Security, JPA, Boot)
• WebSphere v8.5 or higher -5+
• Bitbucket - 3+
• Experience with AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA
• Experience with Responsive Web application development

Nice-to-Have: (These are a plus)

• REST API
• Hibernate/JPA
• Maven
• Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, Oauth2.0, SSL Certificates)
• Solid Understanding of Agile
