Scope:
- The Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) requires a Solution Architect - CRM to provide technical leadership for data migration into Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance and Operations (F&O).
Assignment Deliverables:
As a technical leader in the data migration and reporting team, you will provide expert guidance on all aspects of data migration from legacy systems into Dynamics 365 CE and F&O, including full and delta load design and implementation, ensuring a high-quality data migration.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Leading the development, implementation, and management of D365 CE and F&O, including system monitoring.
- Defining interactions between application packages, databases, and middleware systems.
- Delivering customizations such as entities, fields, workflows, business rules, forms, and views aligned with business processes.
- Determining integration points between Dynamics CRM and other organizational systems.
- Establishing security measures to protect sensitive data and control access.
- Optimizing system performance for smooth operation and responsiveness.
- Leading post-migration support, issue resolution, and data management process improvements.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
The Vendor’s Personnel will also be required to:
- Complete work and meet milestones within deadlines.
- Notify the project Manager of issues or concerns promptly.
- Submit deliverables for approval upon completion.
- Comply with Ontario Government and Cluster/Ministry security, architecture, and confidentiality standards.
- Transfer knowledge and skills to designated staff.
- Adhere to relevant policies, standards, and procedures.
Requirements
Experience and Skill Set Requirements:
Must Haves:
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a CRM architect in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and F&O, including data migration and solution integration.
Skill Set Requirements:
Mandatory Requirements:
- At least 3 years of recent experience as a CRM architect in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and F&O, with expertise in implementation, data migration, and integration.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE and F&O functionalities and capabilities.
- Extensive experience with CRM applications, operating systems, database technologies, programming languages, and communication protocols.
- Understanding of performance considerations, structured design methodologies, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience in large-scale CRM analysis, design, and development, including workflow processes and dynamic forms.
- Familiarity with data and process modeling, metadata structures, and data dictionaries.
- Experience with integration technologies like DataVerse, APIs, and Data Entities.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes, DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and related tools.
- Strong understanding of ETL principles, data pipeline architectures, and Azure workflow orchestration.
Additional specific skills:
- Experience with data management strategies, governance, migration plans, and synchronization processes within Dynamics CRM.
- Proven experience with Azure Data services, including Data Factory, Synapse, PolyBase, and SQL databases.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 security models and access controls.
- Azure resource management and cloud certifications are preferred.
