Description of Responsibilities:

Provides advice on testing strategies, test plans, selection of testing tools, and resource identification for testing. Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments, including systems integration, specialized, and user acceptance testing (e.g., stress tests).

Proficient in Cloud technology, Agile, and DEVOPS.

The Quality Assurance Specialist develops test plans, scripts, and cases, executing them across various components. Collaborates with testing and IT leads, as well as project teams, during analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of systems.

General Skills

Experience in planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts at the specified level
Knowledge of structured methodologies for application development, design, and maintenance
Experience with data query tools for developing test cases
Experience with test management tools and version control systems
Experience executing functional, non-functional, and integration tests
Supporting and participating in user acceptance testing activities
Knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, tools, and methodologies
Creating test data for various testing phases, including validation
Experience with AODA testing, load testing, performance testing, etc.
Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Team player with a track record of meeting deadlines
Knowledge of automated testing tools and at least one programming language
Experience with information retrieval packages and testing in object-oriented environments
Understanding of Information Management principles and AODA standards
Experience coding automated test scripts and testing COTS applications
