Hours - 11am - 3pm

Role Includes:

  • Medication administration
  • Perform physical patient assessments
  • Perform patient and family health teaching
  • Monitor, assess, and document changes in the patient’s condition
  • Assist with activities of daily living
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional healthcare team to determine and implement the patient plan of care
  • Additional opportunities as assigned by Nursing Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses, candidate must be in good standing
  • Experience with G-Tube Care and feed is required
  • Tracheostomy and ventilation care experience is considered an asset
  • Experience in community nursing is considered an asset
  • Valid work/study permit (if applicable)
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 3 months of hire)
  • Up-to-date Immunization Records (MMR, TDAP, Varicella, Hep B, COVID-19)
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to follow client care plan
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset
