Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health Care London is hiring for the Medically Complex Service in London, ON. The role is full-time and involves providing high-level nursing care for patients with chronic and complex medical conditions within an interdisciplinary team.

The service includes care for patients requiring chronic ventilator support, wound management, and rehabilitation following major events. Eligible CCNP nurses may access CCPN grant funding; immunization and safety requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Proficiency and experience in pharmacology and medication administration.
• Valid CPR certificate.
• Successful completion of a nursing competency test.
• Knowledge of OHSA Safety Culture in health care.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Ability to apply nursing process and document care.
• Experience with continuing care patient needs.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Medically Complex Service.
• Support care needs including complex wound management, ventilation, palliation, tube feeds and PICC lines.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient-centered care.
