Job summary

Windsor Essex Community Health Centre in Leamington is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for a maternity leave backfill, temporary full-time (35 hours/week) up to 18 months. The position offers a competitive hourly salary and work within a compassionate, community-focused team.

As part of the Refugee Health program, you will perform physical assessments, health education, and counselling, collaborate with an inter-professional team, and support patients across Windsor-Essex County.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Practical Nursing from a recognized College or School of Nursing.
• Current RPANO membership preferred.
• Police Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical assessments, health education and counselling.
• Support the Refugee Health program and collaborate with the team.
• Maintain chart documentation and participate in reviews and reports.
• Contribute to patient-centred care and organizational mission.
