HealthOPM is looking for compassionate and skilled Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our dedicated team in a long-term care setting in Hawkesbury. Whether you're seeking full-time, part-time, or casual hours, we have flexible shifts to accommodate your schedule!

Shifts Available:

• 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

• 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

• 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Assessment:

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health and medical histories.

• Develop, implement, and update personalized care plans.

• Provide hands-on care, including medication administration, wound care, and other interventions.

Medication Management:

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.

• Educate residents and families on medication administration and side effects.

Resident Advocacy:

• Advocate for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents.

• Support families in understanding care needs and provide guidance.

Leadership & Collaboration:

• Supervise and mentor nursing assistants, LPNs, and clinical staff.

• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring adherence to HIPAA and other regulations.

• Complete required documentation and incident reports.

Qualifications:

• Education: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with a current license from the CNO.

• Experience: Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred.

• Skills & Abilities: Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
