Description and Requirements

This posting is for a one-time event happening on Saturday, August 17th, 2024. The role involves approximately 10 hours, including 4 hours of training, 1 hour of digital conference, and 5 hours in-store on the event day. There may be potential for future Pet Ambassador opportunities with Royal Canin.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and face client’s products on shelves; set up POS materials to help pet parents find what they need
• Build and maintain relationships with store staff and pet owners
• Provide pet health, nutrition, and product knowledge to store staff and customers, including benefits and promotions (with guidance and approval)
• Engage actively with pet owners and their pets to build brand awareness and affinity
• Share pet health and nutrition information, providing personalized product recommendations
• Set up demos and displays as needed
• Use provided materials to engage store associates and pet owners
• Support special projects as required

Success factors:

• Passion for pets, pet health, and nutrition
• Reliable transportation to multiple stores

Qualifications and Experience:

• Access to a smart device for reporting
• Experience working with pets (preferred but not required)
• RVT, AHT, BSc, or MSc in the pet field (preferred but not required)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Must be 18 years or older
