Job summary

Premium Retail Services (Canada), Inc. seeks a part-time Pet Ambassador to represent a significant pet client in stores and at events. You will engage with pet parents, share nutrition/product knowledge, and help boost sales through demonstrations and compelling displays.

You must be a pet enthusiast with reliable transportation and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Training and certification by Premium will be provided to ensure success.

Qualifications

• Be a pet enthusiast who cares about pets, pet health and nutrition.
• Access to reliable transportation to multiple stores in your area.
• Experience working with pets (preferred, not required).
• RVT, AHT, BSc or MSc in the pet field (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Tidy and face client's products on shelves and set up POS materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with store associates, store management and pet parents.
• Provide store associates with pet health, nutrition and product knowledge to boost recommendations and sales.
• Build brand awareness and affinity by engaging with pet parents and their pets in-store and at events.
• Delight customers by sharing pet health information and making personalized product recommendations.
• Set up demos/displays as required.
• Maintain and leverage client materials to engage associates and pet parents.
• Support recommendations driving special projects as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What will you do?

• Tidy and face client's products on shelves as well as ensure any authorized POS material is nicely set up to help ensure pet parents find what they need.




• Build and maintain relationships with store associates, store management, and pet parents.




• Provide store associates with pet health, nutrition, and product knowledge including benefits and promotions to help increase recommendations and sales (with guidance from the client and approval from store managers).




• Build brand awareness and affinity by actively engaging with pet parents and their pets in-store and at events.




• Delight customers by sharing pet health and nutrition information and making personalized product recommendations for their pets.




• Set up demos/displays as required.




• Maintain and leverage client's provided material, such as equipment and handouts, to engage associates and pet parents.




• Support recommendations driving special projects as required.

• Access to a smart device for reporting.




• Experience working with pets (preferred, not required).

• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.




• Must be 18 years or older.
