Job summary

BGIS is seeking an HVAC Journeyperson/Apprentice or Maintenance Mechanic for a roving role across Kenora, ON and additional sites in the region. The incumbent will operate facility systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and service HVAC equipment in accordance with established processes and safety requirements.

Candidates must hold a valid HVAC Certificate of Qualification or be a registered apprentice, with a Gasfitter II license preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold HVAC Certificate of Qualification or be a registered apprentice.
• Gasfitter II license required or preferred.
• Strong adherence to safety and environmental policies.
• Ability to wear PPE and work shifts/on-call.
• Excellent communication and client-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Install and service HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
• Respond to service requests and maintain equipment uptime.
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment.
