Routeservice Manager

The Routeservice Manager leads all functions and operational aspects of the service department and is accountable for achieving targeted growth and operating cost goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen and leadership abilities. Previous supervisory experience in B2B sales and service is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage daily activities of the Service Department.
  2. Create and lead a diverse team to provide best-in-class customer service through positive leadership, ongoing direction, coaching, and career development.
  3. Hire, train, and develop service employees.
  4. Instill a "Customers for Life” attitude within the team by maintaining high customer service standards.
  5. Ensure vehicle safety and fleet maintenance.
  6. Create and support annual business plans.
  7. Oversee proper utilization of service systems.
  8. Promote the UniFirst culture of value and integrity to achieve customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability.
  9. Develop solutions for customers that add value and help them meet their business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and handle customer concerns effectively.
  • Remain calm under pressure and problem solve.
  • Understand priorities and delegate appropriately.
  • Negotiate, train, coach, and lead a team with a positive attitude.
  • Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Suite).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be of legal age with a valid non-commercial driver’s license and a safe driving record (clear driver’s abstract).
Education:
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
