Job description

As a Route Sales Representative at Frito Lay Canada, your main accountabilities are:

  1. Selling and developing the business
  2. Servicing customers through delivery and merchandising

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a growing snack foods business with assigned retail customers, such as grocery, gas, and convenience stores.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing product placement, increasing shelf facings, handling carton returns, inventory movement, and cleaning shelving and racks
  • Identifying changing customer needs through regular review of top-selling products
  • Developing assigned accounts based on sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service goals
  • Selling and executing promotions, soliciting placement of marketing equipment and displays, and managing product inventory to meet customer demands
  • Managing inventory to ensure account balance and product freshness

Qualifications:

  • Valid full G or Class 5 driver’s license
  • Reliable access to a vehicle and a clean driving record
  • Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
  • Previous sales experience in consumer-packaged goods or retail preferred
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities, solve problems, and meet targets
