Role Summary

As a Route Sales Assistant for Old Dutch Foods, you will be responsible for servicing, selling and delivering to our existing customer base in various channels. This is a full-time position, with long-term career opportunities.

Responsibilities
  1. Stock, merchandise, and rotate products on stores shelves and displays
  2. Manage inventory levels to ensure product is always fresh
  3. Follow the set delivery frequency for each account
  4. Operate a handheld invoicing computer system and be responsible for daily cash settlements
  5. Serve the customers in a professional and courteous manner
Qualifications
  1. Team player with strong communication skills
  2. Minimum Grade 12 Education (Post-Secondary Education is an asset)
  3. Excellent organizational skills; able to plan and follow through on key priorities
  4. Valid Driver’s License within Canada (drivers abstract must be provided)
  5. Reliable transportation to get you to and from various locations
  6. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  7. Ability to travel on occasion
