Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Rough Carpenter in Halifax, NS. The Rough Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, framing, and installing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Day-to-day tasks include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, assembling and installing frameworks and structures, and ensuring work is performed according to code. The role also involves maintaining tools and equipment, adhering to safety procedures, and collaborating with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Measurement and Cutting tools, Construction techniques
  • Experience in Framing, Installing, and Assembling Structures
  • Understanding of Blueprints and Building Codes
  • Ability to operate Carpentry Tools and Equipment Safely
  • Strong Attention to Detail and Physical Stamina
  • Effective Communication and Team Collaboration skills
  • Experience in Construction or Carpentry roles
