Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient with various materials. Responsibilities include removal and replacement of wear plates. The Welder will collaborate with team members to meet production goals while following safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate welding equipment and machinery, including Gouging, FCAW, and stick welding processes.
  2. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
  3. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
  4. Work with team members to build complex assemblies while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  5. Rig and operate cranes for lifting heavy materials during fabrication.
  6. Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.

Experience:

  1. Proven experience as a Welder or similar role within manufacturing or construction is preferred.
  2. Experience with removal and replacement of wear plates.
  3. Familiarity with various welding techniques and equipment is essential.
  4. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and schematics is highly desirable.
  5. Ability to read technical documents and follow instructions accurately.
  6. Valid IRATA rope access ticket required.

Pay: $58.49 - $67.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 88 per week

Additional pay: Overtime pay

Language requirement: French not required
