Job description

Position Summary

Tacten is seeking Level 1 Rope Access Journeyperson Insulators to support our client site in Regina, SK. As a Rope Access Insulator, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety. Position Information:

  • 10 hour shifts, 5 days a week
  • IRATA Level 1 ticket required, or willingness to obtain
  • Travel paid, accommodations provided
Responsibilities
  • Install insulation materials, such as foam, fiberglass, or mineral wool, to prevent heat transfer, reduce energy consumption, or control sound.
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas.
  • Secure insulation in place using appropriate fasteners and adhesives.
  • Regularly inspect insulation for signs of wear, damage, or degradation.
  • Replace or repair insulation that has become compromised.
  • Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance insulation performance.
  • Consult with clients or project managers to determine insulation needs based on factors like temperature requirements, acoustic considerations, or electrical insulation needs.
  • Provide recommendations on the most suitable insulation materials and techniques for different environments.
  • Collaborate with construction or maintenance teams to ensure proper installation according to specifications.
Requirements
  • Journeyman Insulator certification required, or proof of hours
  • IRATA Level 1 ticket required, or willingness to obtain
  • Current safety certifications as required
