Tacten Industrial Inc. is seeking Rope Access Journeyperson Insulators to support Shell Scotford in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. This full-time role involves performing high-altitude insulation tasks with emphasis on safety, precision, and reliability.

The position requires IRATA certification with Level 1 as a minimum and encourages Level 2/3 candidates. Local candidates are preferred for Edmonton-area work. Training and progression opportunities are offered within a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Apprentice Insulator or equivalent hours.
• IRATA Level 1 required; Level 2/3 encouraged.
• Ability to read drawings and specs; safety-focused.
• Local candidate preferred for Edmonton area.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation materials to prevent heat transfer and control sound.
• Measure and cut insulation to fit areas.
• Secure insulation with fasteners and adhesives.
• Inspect insulation for wear or damage.
• Replace or repair compromised insulation.
• Recommend improvements to enhance performance.
• Consult with clients or project managers on insulation needs.
• Provide material and technique recommendations for different environments.
• Collaborate with construction or maintenance teams to ensure proper installation.
