OVERVIEW

The Room Attendant is responsible for providing our guests a clean and comfortable room, while achieving high standards of cleanliness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Strip vacant guest rooms of bedding, towels, garbage etc.
  2. Clean guest rooms as allocated achieving exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
  3. Replenish room supplies including toiletries, linen and terry in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  4. Inspect condition of all room furnishings, draperies, hotel provided kitchen housewares and supplies including, coffee makers, dishes, cutlery, etc.
  5. Report all damages and/or require maintenance.
  6. Report all lost and found following Resort procedures.
  7. Return and restock carts at the end of shift.
  8. Carry out deep cleaning as required.
  9. Provide guests with exceptional customer services when addressing questions, concerns or complaints.
  10. Perform duties of House Attendant or Public Spaces Attendant as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Works well under pressure, can multi-task and is able to prioritize.
  2. Possess a keen eye for detail.
  3. Self-starter, with time management and organizational skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  5. Knowledge of WHMIS and chemical use.
  6. Flexible, efficient and punctual.
  7. Able to work independently, or in a team environment.
  8. Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance.
  9. Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  10. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
  11. Qualified applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit that allows the candidate to fulfill the requirements of the role.

Wage: $20.60 per hour plus summer incentive bonus.

Job Type: Permanent, Seasonal.

Schedule: Full Time, Part Time - including weekends and holidays.
