We are looking for a Room Attendant(s) to add to our team.

Nova Hotels operates one property in Acheson, Alberta. This position may require flexibility regarding the property you work at, depending on the hotel's needs.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper / Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor, the Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction. They work efficiently, organize tasks based on business volume, and collaborate with other departments. They ensure all guest areas meet hotel standards using proper cleaning techniques and agents.

This role includes working days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Follow all housekeeping SOPs.
  • Clean and service guest rooms per standards: making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, cleaning appliances like refrigerators and microwaves.
  • Manage supplies and minimize waste.
  • Report lost and found items.
  • Report maintenance, safety, security concerns immediately.
  • Maintain and stock carts for efficiency.
  • Clean hallways and maintain cleaning tools.
  • Assist with trash, recyclables, and linens removal.
  • Clean approximately 1 guest room every 30 minutes.
  • Adhere to Nova Hotels standards on hygiene, safety, security, and guest interactions.
  • Provide exceptional guest service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
