Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Housekeeping Room Attendant. The Room Attendant performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing guest rooms and bathrooms under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Executive Housekeeper. The role requires promoting a positive image of the property to guests and being pleasant, honest, friendly, and responsive to guest requests and problems.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the Room Attendant is responsible for:

  • Entering and preparing rooms for cleaning.
  • Making beds according to hotel standards.
  • Replenishing guestroom and bath supplies.
  • Delivering and retrieving items on loan to guests, e.g., iron and ironing boards.
  • Performing rotation cleaning duties such as steam cleaning carpets and spring cleaning as required.
  • Maintaining work area and equipment according to hotel standards.
  • Attending to guest calls, requests, and complaints in assigned areas.
  • Achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and over 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and equipment over various surfaces.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.
  • Manipulate objects of varying sizes requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.
