Job Description

Pickering Casino Resort is seeking 2 Full-time Hotel Room Attendants!

Under the general direction of the Hotel Housekeeping Manager, the Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining an exceptionally clean and inviting environment for our hotel guests and responding to specific room supply requests in a timely manner. They must adhere to the policies, procedures, quality standards, and services established by the management team for the satisfaction of internal and external guests.

Skills

The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with proven knowledge, skills, and abilities, supporting the company’s vision, mission, and values:

• Maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms as assigned
• Complete at least fourteen (14) credits of cleaning per shift
• Report any damage or inefficiencies to management before releasing a room for occupancy
• Respond courteously and welcomingly to guest questions and requests for supplies
• Operate cleaning equipment safely, following all standard procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned common areas, such as boardrooms
• Ensure inventory of guest room products is updated before releasing the room
• Clean other common areas within the hotel as requested by management, when possible
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

Successful applicants will demonstrate:

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel environment
• Customer service experience
• The ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights (minimum of 11.5 kg or 25 lbs)
• The ability to multi-task and meet daily quotas
• Effective communication skills
• Proficiency in operating basic cleaning equipment
• A safety-conscious mindset for oneself and others
