Job summary

Germain Hotels group in Ottawa is seeking a room attendant with a positive, can-do attitude to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.

You will clean and prepare rooms, meet established standards of cleanliness and presentation, and coordinate with front desk, housekeeping supervisors and maintenance to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. This unionized role offers an hourly rate and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting and standing for long periods.
• Respect for privacy, discretion, sharp eye and very high attention to detail
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays

Diligent and trustworthy, she ensures the comfort and well-being of our guests through the housekeeping of our rooms, taking care to meet the highest standards of cleanliness. Whether working alone or as part of a team, he/she is able to keep up with the pace, and is always ready to offer a helping hand when the need arises.

Hiring hourly rate: $21.42

This position is unionized, and compensation is set as per the current collective agreement.
