Overview

The Room Attendant services guest rooms, ensuring adherence to a comprehensive cleaning process throughout the hotel, following all Brand and CDC guidelines for cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms on a regular schedule, daily.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces.
• Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
• Restock cleaning carts with supplies such as bleach, mops, wipes, and brooms.
• Replenish chemical bottles as needed.
• Ensure overall cleanliness satisfaction for all rooms, public spaces, and guest touchpoints.
• Report maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Clean and sanitize according to CDC and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees and guests, in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Salary Range

$18.81/hr
