Job Description

ROOFTOP LOADER / SHIPPER AND RECEIVER

Roofmart is a major Canadian distributor of residential and commercial roofing and siding products with over 50 locations nationwide.

Responsibilities include safely loading bundles of shingles and related products onto roofs, and safely handling, loading, unloading, moving, shipping, and receiving products and inventory.

When you join us, your responsibilities will include:

• Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related materials
• Working collaboratively with drivers to ensure safe and efficient deliveries
• Handling materials manually and with appropriate equipment
• Loading, unloading, moving, shipping, and receiving products and inventory safely
• Ensuring orders are accurate, tagged, and double-checked
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations
• Performing other duties as assigned

Our ideal candidate:

• Must have physical strength and stamina, and be comfortable working at heights
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights training is an asset (training available)
• Valid forklift license is an asset (training available)
• Ability to lift, push, and carry 80-100 lbs repeatedly
• Strong customer service skills
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred
• Knowledge of the roofing industry is an asset
