Job summary

Daniels Health, a healthcare safety systems provider, seeks an experienced roofing technician to perform repairs, maintenance and installations on commercial roofs. You will work with TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal roofs and related components, while following OSHA safety procedures.

The role requires working at heights, lifting materials, coordinating with the Roofing Foreman and traveling to Daniels facilities across the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred.
• Experience with TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen and metal roofing.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and safe work at heights.

• Load, unload and organize materials and equipment at project sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Follow OSHA regulations and Daniels safety procedures at all times.
• Work with Roofing Foreman to complete projects safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Support additional facility improvement and construction projects as needed.
• Travel extensively throughout the United States to support Daniels facilities.

• Assist with roof inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Safely operate roofing tools, equipment, lifts, and fall protection systems.
• Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment at project sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow OSHA regulations and Daniels safety procedures at all times.
• Work closely with the Roofing Foreman / Superintendent to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Support additional facility improvement and construction projects as needed.
• Travel extensively throughout the United States to support Daniels facilities.

What we are looking for

• 2+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and metal roofing.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing safety practices and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to safely work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to travel extensively.
• Ability to lift and carry roofing materials and equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

$21.13 - $26.39 an hour

The pay range for this position is $21.13 to $26.39_per hour. Actual compensation within this range will depend on factors unique to each candidate, such as prior experience, skill, certifications, and work location. Pay variations by location reflect local conditions and differences in the cost of labor.
