Flynn Canada Ltd is hiring a Roofing Project Coordinator/Estimator! This position will be based out of our Halifax location, reporting to the Roofing Manager.

A Day in the Life

·Work closely with Project Manager coordinating project schedules, materials, and equipment.

·Organize and coordinate submittals

·Review and monitor schedules and quality control

·Review all contracts and accepted quotations

·Write up purchase orders

·Prepare material order sheets and review quantity takeoffs

·Attend team meetings

·Assist production with preparing prices

·Work with the PM and Estimator to prepare comprehensive material lists for the projects

·Assist the Superintendent and Project Managers, where applicable, in the day-to-day duties of a project’s administration

What We Are Seeking

·Recent graduate of a Construction or Engineering & Technologies program or a related educational field, or have a minimum of 1 year work experience in a construction environment (Project Coordination or Estimating preferred but not required)

·Proficiency in MS office package, including MS Project

·Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities

·Ability to multitask and work in a team environment

·Strong blueprint reading skills
