Triumph Group of Companies in the Greater Toronto Area seeks a Roofing Estimator to prepare accurate takeoffs and pricing for roofing and waterproofing projects, coordinating with owners, consultants, and contractors. You will support post-contract questions and special projects while maintaining pricing accuracy and supplier knowledge.

You will collaborate with ownership on special projects and represent ownership when needed, ensuring timely communication and thorough documentation across bids

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of roofing estimating experience, including ICI (commercial, industrial and institutional) flat roofing.
• Working knowledge of built-up tar and gravel and modified bitumen systems (asphalt, torch applied and cold applied).
• Experience estimating new roof, reroof and waterproofing projects.
• Strong takeoff skills for materials, labour and equipment from tender drawings and specifications, plus the ability to review contracts, quotations and CCDC documents.
• Knowledge of single ply and synthetic membrane systems is an asset.

Role Overview

The Roofing Estimator prepares accurate takeoffs and pricing for new roof, reroof and waterproofing projects across ICI flat roofing, working from tender drawings and specifications. You work with building owners, consultants, general contractors and suppliers, and you support the project management team when contract questions or extras come up after signing. You also work closely with ownership on special projects and represent them when needed. Good work in this role means your numbers hold up, your drawings are checked before they are priced, and when you find a miss you say so early and say what you will change. The teams you work with will notice that you share what you know, including your pricing history and supplier knowledge, instead of keeping it to yourself.
