Overview

Uplift Therapy for Men is seeking to hire motivated therapists/counsellors to join our team. The therapist will be responsible for providing individual, couples, family therapy and/or group therapy to men of all ages and backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have experience working with men's mental health issues and a passion for helping men to achieve their full potential.

The Role: We are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Social Workers to join our team. This is an independent-contractor, associate position, with room to grow your practice. Our ideal candidate is interested in a long-term associate relationship with our growing practice.

The position will grow as new clients get assigned. Preference will be given to day, evening and weekend availability. You will be providing psychotherapy for young adults, adults and couples.

Key Qualifications
  • Minimum Masters Degree in Psychotherapy, Social Work, Psychology, Spiritual Care, Marriage & Family Therapy or equivalent in the related field (MSW, MA, PsyD)
  • Membership with appropriate governing body (CRPO, CPO, OCSWSSW)
  • Training in evidence-based modalities (ACT, CBT, CFT, DBT, SFBT etc.)
  • Excellent report and clinical record-keeping writing skills
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Experience with facilitating groups (not mandatory but good to have)
  • Evidence of participation in peer-peer consultation, supervision and professional development
  • Fluency in a second language an asset (not required)
  • Specialty: Trauma (EMDR, Brain Spotting, IFS, and/or Somatic), Couples/Families (EFT), ADHD, Mindfulness
  • Must provide proof of own liability insurance and/or own supervision (if needed)
