Job Summary: One of our distinguished clients, recognized for their exemplary management culture and commitment to fostering employee development and professional growth, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Roofer to join their team. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in roofing and construction, along with the capability to work efficiently under varying weather conditions. This position entails the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems on both residential and commercial structures. The ideal applicant will exhibit strong physical endurance, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to safety protocols.

Duties:

• Install, repair, or replace shingles, shakes, and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
• Install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
• Install, repair, or replace built-up roofing for SBS roofing systems.
• Install sheet metal flashings.
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
• Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs.
• Estimate materials required and quote costs when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Experience:

• Roofer experience in Single Ply with a minimum of 1 year experience.
• Certified applicator with major commercial roofing systems including SBS, EPDM, and TPO is an asset.
• Conduct building inspections in partnership with clients.
• Utilize clear lines of communication and treat others with dignity and respect.
• A driver’s license required, and having your own transportation is considered an asset.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles, mechanical devices, and/or equipment.
• Ability to work at various heights while adhering to safety protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay:

• Roofers: $28.00 - $33.62 per hour
• Roofer Helpers: $24.82-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

• Dental care

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Language: English Required, Spanish an asset
