Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
2. Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
3. Repair or replace existing single-ply roofing systems.
4. Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces, both below and above ground level.
5. Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
6. Install sheet metal flashings.
7. Estimate costs and materials required for roofing projects.
8. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
